Oily Skin Care 

The combination / oily skin has the characteristic to produce excess oil, meaning, your skin contains more oil than you need and this makes it look shiny as if filled with oil; It is one of the skins which requires more care because of their tendency to acne.

There are several factors to have this type of skin:

1.- Genetic or hereditary ·
2.- Hormonal changes
3.- Very hot and humid climates
4.- Use very aggressive products for removing make

1. One of the biggest mistakes we make is to over washing the face, washing your face many times a day does not help to remove oil, only makes your skin to produce more oil because the skin needs this natural oil to stay hydrated.

It is best to wash your face 2 times a day (morning and evening) with a soap that is 100% neutral and not very creamy, that could clog pores, gel cleaners are very good for this type of skin because they are lighter.

To remove excess oil and the brightness of the face during the day you can use different things,  as rice paper are serving very well, personally, the role of seat covers for public restrooms and coffee filters work perfectly well, just remember to Press lightly on the face and NO rubbing so that the paper absorbs the oil.

2. Use a toner after washing your face; This will help to cleanse pores a little after cleaning, can help close the pores, balances the accumulation of oil in the skin, prepare for moisturizing, the best of this is that you can even make one at home without chemicals!

3. Another serious mistake we make is not using a moisturizer, the oil that produces helps hydrate our skin, but as we are using products to combat it also requires a moisturizer for the skin to stay hydrated and soft, avoid creams containing oil (oil-free) and preferably review the package so it says mixed or oily skin.

Especially if we use products for acne, they can irritate or dry the skin, and moisturizing helps to prevent it. Use a moisturizing for another skin type can cause you to produce even more oil. And use it only 2 times a day.

4. Use a scrub, exfoliate the face helps to remove dead cells, if you have acne, you can use to apply a mask that helps dry the pimples, remove blackheads, etc. There are clay-based masks that are very good for this type of skin but only do it once a week.

I've noticed when I don't drink enough water (less than 2 liters a day) my skin looks dull, with more oil, and I get more pimples.
