7 Habits That Could Be Damaging Your Skin



The skin of the face is much thinner than the rest of our body, so we must be very careful with the products we use it and the bad habits that can cause our skin does not look healthy.

1.Salt scrubs: The salt grains are thicker and harder to dissolve than sugar, using a salt scrub on the face can hurt the skin as this is more sensitive than other parts of the body. Therefore it is more likely to irritate easily.

2. Use dental paste for acne: It is said that if you put a little toothpaste on a pimple it will dry it.  It contains ingredients that will burn your skin as menthol and fluoride cause itching, swelling, and irritation of the skin.

3. Using lemon to clear dark marks: it is very common to read that lemon is good for removing dark marks.  Applying it directly without dissolving lemon water on your face will only cause irritation. If you are exposed to the sun the marks will become more noticeable.

4.Dormir without removing your makeup: One of the worst mistakes you can make is to go to sleep with makeup. Makeup in combination with impurities of the day causes clogged pores, leaving a dull, greasy, and prone to the appearance of acne skin because the skin does not breathe properly.

5. Using wrong products: Using cleaning products and makeup that are not appropriate for your skin type, can cause the skin to dry out or cause to produce more oil.

6. Avoid using sunscreen: sun exposure without sunscreen damages the skin causing premature aging, age spots, and even cancer.

7.-Using dirty makeup brushes: Makeup brushes accumulate bacterias and dust, using them without properly cleaning them every once in a while may cause clogged pores, making the skin acne-prone.
