Total Body stretch

This week's routine is a total body stretch. You can do this stretch after your workout or at any time of the day to help you relax the muscles and activate your body.

The goal is to help the muscles relax for faster recovery and activate the body if you spend many hours sitting. 

It's a gentle stretch routine that can be done by anyone, no matter their flexibility level.

It is a short routine of approximately 7 minutes, and no equipment is required, just a yoga mat if you like. 

The muscles we will be working on in this stretching routine are:

  • Quadricep 
  • Hip flexor
  • Hamstrings
  • Back 
  • Shoulders 
  • Adductors  
  • Chest

Daily stretching brings many benefits such as:

  • Helps prevent injuries
  • Relaxes muscles
  • Reduces muscle soreness
  • Reduces physical and mental tension
  • Improves performance of physical activities
  • It helps with joint mobility.

Whenever you stretch, do not forget to keep in mind:

  • Don't force your body.
  • Always concentrate on your breathing.
  • Try to have a good posture during the execution of the exercise.
  • Always perform the workout slowly.
