Moving your body doesn’t always have to be intense or complicated. Sometimes what we really need is a gentle, progressive flow that helps release tension and reconnect with how we feel.
This routine is designed exactly for that: we start at the top with the neck and slowly work our way down through the shoulders, spine, hips, and legs, allowing each area to wake up, open, and feel lighter.
We begin with simple movements: neck circles, shoulder circles, and arm circles to warm up the upper body and release the tension we often carry from sitting or stress.
Then we move into side bends and a forward fold to activate the back and the entire posterior chain.
From there, the flow becomes more dynamic: hands on the floor, alternating knee bends, a gentle squat, and movements that help open the lower back and hips.
Once we’re on the mat, we work the spine with cat–cow, release the mid‑back with thread the needle, and warm up the wrists to prepare the whole body.
Later, we move through a smooth transition between cobra and child’s pose, opening the chest, stretching the front body, and deeply relaxing the lower back.
We finish with seated hip mobility, wide‑leg side bends, and a butterfly stretch to fully release.
It’s a complete, accessible flow, perfect for days when you want to move without pushing too hard.
If you want to follow along with me, the video is right here so we can do the routine together and enjoy the flow in real time. Don't forget to switch the language to English!
