Today’s video is a small workout routine that you can implement before your leg and glute workout. It is a 5 min glute activation workout that you can follow along. You can do it at home or at the gym.
If you don’t know what muscle activation means, don’t worry I’ll explain it to you.
Muscle activation means you are waking up your muscles, you are preparing them for the routine you are about to do.
It is essentially a warm up, but it is only focused on a specific area or muscles that you will be working that day.
Why is it important?
Like I said you are preparing the targeted area, in this case the glutes, for the heavy work that is coming.
Muscle activation can help prevent injuries, but also will give you better results: better performance of the exercise, improve strength and you’ll sculpt the body better.
Because it is an activation workout, you do not need any equipment at all, it’s all body weight.
