8 Curly Hair Hacks that will change your life

Curly hair can be both a blessing and a nightmare, anyone who has a curly hair at least once has heard one person with straight hair saying: I love your hair it’s so pretty!!

But little they know taking care of curly hair it’s hard because it tends to be super dry and it's tangled most of the time.

But luckily you have arrived at the perfect place where I´ll share with you, 8 hacks to have healthy and amazing curls.

1.- Curly hair gets tangled easily and breaks easily, to avoid damaging it its best to use a wide-toothed comb while, always start combing on at the ends and work your way up, also it is better to untangle the hair before you take a shower because wet hair it’s even more fragile. Untangled it first, take a shower, and while you are conditioning your hair comb it.

2.- Curly hair Tends to get frizzy a lot especially in humidity places. To avoid the frizz after taking the shower dry your hair with a cotton t-shirt, not a towel, avoid rubbing the t-shirt all over your head, instead, press the shirt against your hair so the shirt absorbs all the extra water.  A different way to dry your hair it’s with a diffuser, this way you will protect it from the heat of the blow dryer. Remember curly hair its dryer than straight hair so too much heat can damage it.

3.- Don´t over wash your hair with shampoo. Washing your hair every single day weakens it especially if your hair is dry. Wash your hair with shampoo only 2 times a week, if you feel like you need to wash it more days use only conditioner to help moisture your hair. Use products that are made especially for curly hair and avoid products that contain ingredients derived from silicone.

4.- An effective way to condition curly hair: wet your hair apply conditioner and put on a shower cap while you finish showering. The conditioner and the heat the shower cap will create, combine, will help your curls absorbed all the moisture. Leave for about 15 minutes and rise as you usually do. Or you can also use a leave-in conditioner, which means you don’t have to rinse your hair after applying.

5.- Use hair creams or gels to stylish your hair starting at the ends and work your way up.

They will help moisturize your curls and keep them in place.

Avoid overusing products you don’t really need tons of products to style your curls and try to stay away from hair sprays because they will also dry your hair even more.

6.- If you like to change styles occasionally and straighten your hair, try using your flat iron on the lowest setting.

Curly hair is fragile and too much heat will only damage your hair even more creating split ends and more frizz.

7.- A good haircut will help your curls stay in place. When you’re going to get, your haircut it's better if you ask for a dry cut, curly hair tends to shrink when gest dry and you can end up with shorter hair.

Make sure you ask your stylist to cut it dry to get the haircut you wanted.

8.- Use coconut oil at the ends as a moisturizer treatment.

Grab a small amount of coconut oil (the size of an almond) and apply it gently on the ends of your hair, as you will do it with any other hair cream.

Don’t need to rinse. Your hair will absorber the oil.
