If you had a long day or been sitting too much, this short, calming stretching routine will help you release physical tension, improve mobility, and feel more grounded all in just 10 minutes.
In this video, I’ll guide you through a series of gentle movements that focus on the neck, shoulders, spine, and torso. No equipment is needed, just a comfortable space and a few minutes for yourself.
Why should you do gentle stretching?
A few mindful minutes of stretching can go a long way.
Some of the key benefits of this routine include:
Easing tension in the neck, shoulders, and back.
Supporting better posture and joint mobility.
Enhancing breath awareness.
Providing a calming pause from daily stress.
This sequence is perfect to start your morning with clarity or wind down at the end of the day.
What we would focus on this routine.
During this video, we’ll move slowly and intentionally through:
Deep, grounding breaths
Neck circles to release tension
Triceps stretches + gentle torso twists
Seated side bends
Forward folds over each leg
Each movement is linked to the breath, creating a flow that feels nurturing and accessible.
Hit play below and follow along in real time.
Remember that this practice doesn’t need to be perfect, it just needs to be yours.
If by the end of it you feel a bit more calm, a bit more connected… that’s everything.
