How to do backbends in 10 min

Today we will learn exercises that will help us with the back flexibility to achieve a backbend. The first thing to know is that you can start at any age. It is not an exercise that requires strength; but flexibility and perseverance. But mainly a lot of patience.

As a curious fact, having a flexible back helps to avoid pain in this area, have a better range of motion, improving our overall agility.

You can do these exercises daily; if you wish, but try to do them after a general body warm-up, as it will help your muscles to get ready and avoid injuries.

We will start with a short warm-up to help prepare the back.

Then we will do some movements that will help us to gain confidence to reach the desired position, in this case, the the backbend.

After ther warm-up exercises, we will perform the backbend, but if you do not feel comfortable doing it yet, don't worry because I also give an alternative option that can help you gain confidence.

At the end of the workout, we will finish with some exercises to relax the back muscles.

Keep in mind that; if this is the first time you do this type of exercise, the next day, you'll feel "pain" in your back.

This pain means that you worked the muscles therefore they're sore. It's completely normal. With time and practice your muscles will get used to it and you'll no longer feel that discomfort.

If you would like a more advanced video on this particular exercise or any other flexibility exercise you would like to learn or improve, feel free to leave it in the comments. I hope you enjoy the video.
