Today I´m reviewing the Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay In Place Foundation. I have seen and read amazing reviews claiming is the best foundation ever, so I decided to try it my self and see if it really is worthy.

It says that contains SPF 10, is for all skin types,  is remarkable lasting, lightweight makeup that wears comfortably up to 24 hours, even in high humidity. Won´t smudge or come off in clothes, oil free. fragrance-free, non-acnegenic, dermatologist and ophthalmologist tested.

At first, it does sound like the best foundation ever, they got me at EVEN IN HIGH HUMIDITY, I live in a city where right now is 27 °c and the humidity is 69% and is a "cold" day lol
So I went to Sephora to buy it let me tell you is not cheap it cost me $42 dollars which is Mexican pesos are $800. I got the color 4w1 honey bronze which is a medium tan with warm golden undertones.

It was 11 am when I decided to apply the foundation since I was going to a wedding that night I thought it will be the perfect opportunity to try it for a long period of time.

When I first apply it looked like this:

My first impression was, finally a foundation that fits me, I always have a hard time finding the right shade for my skin tone. It does feel light and has good coverage, the good thing about it is that you can build it if you need more coverage and still won't feel heavy.

I wore it all day by the time I needed to get ready for the wedding at 9 pm my makeup looked like this:

I did start to get a little bit oily on my T-zone, but not as oily as other foundations where basically all the makeup is gone, This one you can barely see it, but with a little bit of powder, everything was good.

I had worn the foundation for 10 hours, and still looks really good, in my opinion, most foundations I used after a couple of hours I can feel how my face starts to melt with the oil and the sweat, they never last as long as I need them to.

This foundation really amaze me, it is really hot and humid in here, and the fact that I was able to wear it a full day, comfortably, not worrying about my makeup getting ruin by the heat.

It is expensive, but it is definitely worth the price, it does what it claims, it does last, I leave in a humid place I have oily skin, and it was barely noticeable by the end of the day. It has great coverage even if you use a little, I found my right shade I always struggle with that, they have over 40 shades to choose which is perfect. It does have the characteristic Estee Lauder smell ( kind of like perfume) which I don't mind, and even it has SPF my face doesn't look white on pictures with flash.

Have you tried this Foundation?
